Hi, I am Kenneth Ofori-Boateng

Senior Associate Consultant

Prof. Kenneth Ofori-Boateng is a highly accomplished consultant and academic with a broad and impactful career. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). His academic background includes a PhD in Environmental and Development Economics from the University of Ibadan, a master’s degree in Economics, and a first degree in Economics and Law from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

He has further strengthened his expertise through specialized training programs at institutions such as the University of Pretoria (Johannesburg Campus), the University of St. Gallen, the Joint Facility for Electives in Nairobi, and the University of Ghana Business School.

In his consultancy work, Kenneth has successfully delivered a variety of projects ranging from the development of funding mechanisms for agricultural value chain actors to feasibility studies, project development proposals, and end-of-project evaluations for high-profile organizations including the African Development Bank (AfDB), Hunger Project-Ghana, RTIMP/IFAD, ICOUR, and ACET.

His research contributions have appeared in numerous international peer-reviewed journals such as the *International Journal of Green Economics*, *Journal of Poverty*, *International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management*, and the *Journal of Financial Crime*. Kenneth’s academic excellence has earned him several fellowships and awards, including scholarships from the Global Business School Network (GBSN) and the University of Ibadan International Scholarship for West African Students.

He has held several key administrative roles at GIMPA, including Coordinator of Academic Planning and Accreditation, Associate Professor at GIMPA Business School, and Manager of the Tema Satellite Campus. He is also affiliated with prominent organizations such as the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and the African Youth Federation (AYF).

Kenneth is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French and Swahili. His technical capabilities include proficiency in Eviews, Stata, Microsoft Office, and Lindep, all essential tools for econometric modeling, statistical analysis, and economic forecasting.
