Dale Dela Akpakli is a consultant with expertise in Human Resource Management and Industrial and Organisational Psychology. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Linguistics and a Master of Philosophy degree in Psychology. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Resource Management at the University of Ghana Business School, further enhancing his academic foundation and professional credentials.
With an extensive career spanning various roles and sectors, Dale has demonstrated exceptional competence in financial services, training, and research. From 2007 to 2011, he made significant contributions at Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited, advancing from Relationship Officer to Acting Relationship Manager. In these roles, he proficiently managed credit evaluations, deposit mobilisation, and loan application assessments. His earlier tenure as Customer Care Officer and Acting Head of Customer Care highlighted his commitment to client satisfaction through effective staff training, oversight of customer service officers, and management of customer-bank interactions.
Earlier in his career, Dale played a vital role as an Accounts Officer at Unilever Ghana Limited, where he expertly coordinated stock control activities and handled account reconciliations. His broad experience also spans training facilitation and research initiatives for a range of donor agencies—such as DANIDA, CIDA, and JICA—as well as private and public institutions including CEPS, GNA, Civil Service, Trust Bank, Department of Feeder Roads, ARB/Apex Bank, RMFI, and HFC Bank. He was also involved in mystery shopping for Ecobank and participated in impact studies evaluating the Support Programme for Enterprise Empowerment and Development (SPEED).
Currently, Dale contributes to academia as a lecturer at Ghana Communication Technology University, where he is deeply engaged in teaching and research. His technical expertise spans a range of digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and research tools such as SPSS, Mendeley, and Zotero, which support his analytical and pedagogical work.
